Snow

Yes, we did get a lot of snow this week.  No, we did not thoroughly enjoy it.  Playing in 21 inches of new snow would have been much more fun if we weren't supposed to be on our way to Iowa for a job interview for Brian.  It took nearly all of Wednesday to shovel ourselves out of the garage, and thanks to some neighbors who pushed our car, we finally got out of the alley around 8:30 p.m. that night. We quickly threw our things in the car and started on our way.  We drove for about 2 hours and then found a hotel.  Thursday morning we got an early start and arrived for the interview only a half day later than planned.  Brian was able to complete his interview with a few activities spilling over into Saturday. Now we are back in snowy Evanston and CELEBRATING the Packer victory!  Woo-hoo!!!
