Easter Fun

We were in Wausau over Easter weekend, and we egg hunted till the cows came home. We started out with a little egg hunt at our home before leaving for Wausau.  On Saturday we hunted eggs at church.  On Sunday we hunted eggs at Mom and Dad's and then at Theresa's.  It was lots of fun, and we had great egg-hunting weather.  By the end of the weekend Ollie was a pro at finding those eggs!

Henry is excited to hold anything in his hands these days, and when that something is food he is all the more excited.  Luckily, the Easter Bunny knew just what he wanted! Oliver found the Pigeon from the book 'Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus' in his basket and was thrilled.  (Book plug: the author of that book is Mo Willems.  Any book by Mo Willems is super fun.)

Saturday we visited our favorite places in downtown Wausau: Janke's Bookstore, Sweets on 3rd, and The Mint Cafe.  That night we had Sam's Pizza for dinner with Briq's for dessert.  No sir, we did not hold back!

Sunday morning we all got dressed up to go to church.  We were NOT late, but we were late enough to have to sit in the front row.  The front row with 3 kids is kind of risky, but all 3 kiddos were awesome.  Bre and Oliver sat so quietly and looked through their activity bags.  Henry was busy smiling at everyone around us.  Maybe we need to sit up front more often!

After church we had a delicious brunch at my aunt Theresa's house and spent some time with family. It was a quick and busy but really fun weekend!
