The Merry Holidays

Christmas Part 1

We started celebrations off a little early this year.  My sister and Breanna were able to fly home for a weekend in mid-December.  My brother-in-law is doing well enough that Jenny felt comfortable leaving him in the care of his children for a couple of days while she made a quick trip home to see as many people as she could in two days.  To make it easier for her we gathered everybody in one place.  We had an impromptu family party and we had a blast!

Christmas Part 2

We were back in Wausau the following weekend for the big Holidaypalooza.  We had a Scheffler party, a Carmichael party, a Merkey party, and even a few mini high school reunions.  The boys had cousin-time galore and they loved it.  It was great being together with everyone.  The holidays sure seem to fly by quickly, but these photos will help us remember some of the highlights of Christmas 2012.

Christmas Part 3

The day we returned home after our travels we received a package from a friend in Denmark.  When we opened it we discovered some of our favorite holiday (and non-holiday) Danish treats.  Let the holiday celebration continue!  Thank you Janine!
