Happenings

Today is a true Spring day.  Rain, rain, and more rain.  But we have had a string of nice weather and we've been able to get outside for some adventures.  Here is what has been happening around our home.

We visited our friends on their farm.  We got to see some chickens and a day-old calf. Next time we'll get to see their lambs.  We can't wait!

We took a sunset walk along the river one evening.  The boys love stopping by these statues to look out on the water.

The gigantic puddles at the playgrounds have finally dried up and we get to go play!  Last fall Henry needed help to get around on all of the equipment.  Now he just goes and goes and goes.  

Easter weekend was busy but fun.  We had an egg hunt at home and an egg hunt at The Parenting Place on Saturday.  That afternoon we drove up to Wausau and Easter morning we were up bright and early to attend Sunrise Service.  The boys thought it was so fun to bundle up and go to "outside church".  After a delicious lunch at my aunt's house we were back on the road for home.

This past weekend my sister and her family were able to make it home for a family wedding and some much deserved rest and relaxation.  It was SO great to see them.  My brother-in-law is doing well.  Physically he is doing great and his memory is coming back slowly but surely.  There are still daily struggles, but we are just SO thankful that he is still here with us!
