Our Apartment

Well, here are the promised pictures of our humble abode. It's tiny, but for now it's home! For those of you in Wausau, this place feels like a cabin at the School Forest. You'll notice it's only two rooms with a little bathroom (where the shower floor IS the entire bathroom floor), and two single beds that also function as our sofas. The refrigerator is hidden behind one of those green cabinet doors, so yes it's small too. We were happily surprised to have a wash machine AND dryer, but it's outside in another part of the building (that's where our freezer is too). We haven't found a place for everything yet, which is why you'll see our clothing and suitcases still scattered about the living room/bedroom floor. It's on the small side, but it's cozy! There's a Danish word 'hygge' that roughly translates to coziness, so that's what we've got!
