A Bed for a Big Boy

It's hard to believe, but it is true!  Oliver has moved into a big boy bed.  Last weekend we made the switch, and so far he is loving it.  He helped Dad take apart the crib and he waved good-bye to it as it was put away in storage.

He was right there to help put the new bed together.

It's a good thing he was there to make sure it was all going to fit.

Oh, this is so comfortable, and I have so much room!

It's even better with the sheets and blankets.  What a cozy bed!

Come on, Mom, try it out!

It's a great place to cozy up and read some books.

Oliver loves being in his bed.  He piles up the books and we snuggle up and read. He takes toys in there to play.  Oh, and he does sleep in his bed too.  He naps really well in it.  He falls asleep in it at night, but we're still having trouble with him waking up in the night and wanting out of his bed.  It was the same with the crib, so we just have to break the waking pattern.  He looked so big in his crib, but now he looks so little in his bed.  It's hard to believe we're at this stage already.  He's growing up way too fast!

And I'm still holding out...Keeping Kjetil in his crib for as long as I can...I foresee naps disappearing and bed time circus potential, so I'm keeping him in the crib. WAY TO GO OLIVER!!
