Visitors, Part Two

Ollie and I have been lucky enough to spend some fun times with Cian and Niamh over the past few weeks.  We had a couple of lunch and park dates, and then on Wednesday we met them at the Shedd Aquarium for the afternoon. Oliver loves spending time with them, and it's so nice for me to be able to keep in touch with the kiddos. They're growing up way too fast!

On Thursday we had an early start to a weekend of family fun.  My mom and dad came down with Breanna, and it was non-stop giggling and play time for all. Friday we went to the Kohl's Children's Museum.  It was a very busy place - it seemed all of Chicago was there for Spring Break - but the kids managed to have a great time fixing and washing cars, being veterinarians, shopping for groceries, working at Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and playing in the water works corner.

On Friday Jenny, Keith, and Joey joined the party.  The sad part is that we don't have a place big enough for everyone to stay with us.  The happy part is that Jenny and Co. stayed at a hotel with a super fun swimming pool!  Ollie loved floating on the noodles and getting his little froggy legs kicking.

On Saturday we caravanned down to the Museum of Science and Industry. There was so much to see and explore.  Oliver loved climbing up in the big farm equipment.  We spent a good part of the day watching and riding trains, learning about storms, watching the Jolly Ball machine, getting Oma on her first airplane "flight", learning about farming, and taking a walk down yesterday's Main Street.

Future Farmers?

Today we had a relaxing morning before everyone had to take off for home. Time always passes too quickly when our family comes to visit.  Thank you Oma, Papa, Jenny, Breanna, Keith and Joey for making the trip down here.  We had a super fun time and can't wait to see you again soon!
