Party Time in Green Bay

We took a trip to Green Bay this weekend for our niece Breanna's 6th birthday party.  We started out at Rola Rena where we skated our little hearts out.  Oliver was excited to try on the roller skates, and he loved going around and around the rink.  We loved the little walkers-on-wheels they had to help the kids go out on their own. For Brian and I it was like taking a trip back in time to High Roller. It appeared that the decor hadn't changed since the 80's and that's just how we liked it. It was so fun to put on some roller skates again and to share the fun with our boys.  While Ollie got in on the skating action, Henry sat along the sidelines and watched us go around with a big smile on his face.

After skating we went to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner.  This was Oliver's first time going, and he was more than excited.  It proved to be a very fun and very chaotic place to play and eat.  It was a good place for some crazy cousin time with Bre, Joey, Cheyenne, Brynn, Aubrey, Knox, Ana, Mercedes, Hlee, Kailyn and Kristina.  Oliver was brave and stood with Chuck E. Cheese for a thumbs-up photo.  After the photo Ollie turned to walk away and bumped into Chuck E.'s nose.  He laughed and laughed so hard and has been talking about that ever since. It's the little things that make the memories!

After Chuck E. Cheese we pretty much all crashed for the night.  The next morning the kids were up and raring to go for some pool time.

We took a trip to the Bay Beach Nature Preserve (what a great fun and free place to explore!) and then had a fun lunch all together before we had to head back to La Crosse. We're so glad we could be there to help Breanna celebrate turning 6!  Happy Birthday, Breanna! We love you!
