We took a trip to Duluth over the holiday weekend to celebrate with a friend. After several years of hard work and dedication our friend Megan graduated with her Doctorate in Education. Way to go Super Woman! Megan threw herself quite the bash - we took a dinner cruise out on Lake Superior. The sights were beautiful but the waters were very choppy. After a half hour of bouncing up and down on the water our captain decided to head back to the harbor where we cruised around the shipping docks. Much to our relief it was smooth sailing from there on.
Before the boat ride we took the boys to the Lake Superior Zoo. They really liked seeing the animals, and they LOVED taking a ride around the zoo on a miniature train. Woo-woo!
It was a quick but fun-packed trip. Congratulations Megan! We are so glad we could be there to celebrate with you!
