We started redoing our deck last summer. Today we finally got the stain on it. It was hard for us to remember what the old deck looked like, so we got out the 'before' photos. We knew it was bad, but EEKS! That was terrible! Our main concern was safety. The broken railings with wide gaps were barely hanging on. Last summer we rebuilt the railings, widened the stairs, and replaced some of the floor boards. Today the weather was kind enough to let us stain. It's done! Woo-hoo!
