Well here we are in August already. In only a few short weeks Ollie will be off to Kindergarten, Henry will be off to Preschool, and our world will never be the same again! So many people have told us that once kids start elementary school time just flies by. I'm trying to milk this summer for all it's worth and brace myself for the big changes ahead.
A couple of weekends ago we made a trek out to Wildcat Mountain State Park. So worth the drive! Great hiking, a very fun nature center, and an amazing view!
We've gotten some good park time in lately. Henry could swing for hours, while Ollie wants to climb anything that could possibly be climbed. So much fun!
We had a super fun visit from our friend Vilas. We played lots of Legos, ate lots of ice cream, and took him out to the farm. We're so glad he made the journey here!
This past weekend we celebrated my grandparents' 60th Anniversary. What a fun time we had celebrating such a wonderful couple. There were cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, neighbors, and friends galore!
Here's to making the most of these last few weeks of summer!
