Since Brian had been sick for nearly a week without Oliver and I getting sick I thought we were in the clear. Unfortunately, Oliver proved me wrong this weekend. Now it's his turn. He has quite a cough and a very runny nose. So far he hasn't had a fever. Sleep isn't coming so easily at night. Poor little guy has been hit with the double whammy of his first big cold and his two front teeth coming in (that makes 6 teeth now!). Despite all that, his spirits are still up. He's a smiling go-getter who wants to be walking all the time. And his little legs move even faster when he sees that tissue coming.

Germs
We made it through most of the winter, but now, it seems, our luck has run out. Brian started out the germ-passing while we were visiting Chicago. Toward the end of the trip he was starting to not feel so good. By Monday, he was barely getting out of bed. He had a bad cough and a very runny nose, body aches and a fever. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were kind of a blur. Brian slept most of the time and I tried to keep Oliver quiet so Brian could rest. Thursday Brian seemed to be doing a little better, but Friday he was back down again. I took him to the doctor and he has a sinus infection. The medicine he was given has helped some, but the cough and runny nose just won't let go.
