It's definitely pumpkin time around here, and we have visited a couple of farms in our area to check out the Fall festivities. Last week we went to Wagner Farm - a super fun farm only minutes from our house. This weekend we took a trip north to Susanna Farms where we got lost in a corn maze and took a tractor and wagon hay ride.

Susanna Farms had two corn mazes - one for kids and one for grown-ups. Oliver took off running through the kids' maze. We let him lead the way and eventually he did get us out, but not before we walked parts of the maze over and over again.

Oliver loved the hay ride. He sat so still the whole time and took in the scenery. After dark this hay ride turns in to a haunted hay ride. We saw some of the scary scenes along the way and I was just glad it was still daytime.

Both farms had plenty of animals to watch. Oliver especially liked the miniature donkeys at Susanna Farms. They were just his size, and they liked Ollie as much as Ollie liked them. Oliver also fed some chickens and was almost brave enough to pet the horses. We had some good times down on the farm.
