Superdawg for a Super Guy

Ollie and I had a fantastic Father's Day weekend with our main man.  After 8 years of craving it Brian finally got to eat at Superdawg yesterday.  It was fun and delicious and pretty much worth the wait.  Oliver was fascinated by the "boy hot dog and girl hot dog" on top of the building.

After lunch we went to Brookfield Zoo.  We toured the children's zoo, watched the big cats sleep, and bounced along with the kangaroos.  On the way home Oliver said his favorite animal at the zoo was the llama.  Brian said he was intrigued by the crazy-looking hooves on the reindeer.

Today was a quieter day.  We attempted a trip to the botanic garden, but on the way there it started to rain.  We scrapped that idea and came back home and packed a few boxes.  Brian took Oliver to swim lessons in the afternoon and then we packed a little more.  It wasn't the most fun way to spend the actual day of Father's Day, but it does feel good getting the packing going.  We had a lot of fun on our outing yesterday, and anyway it isn't just today that Oliver and I are grateful for Brian.  We are grateful and thankful for him every day because he is an amazing and supportive husband and a fun and playful dad.

Happy Father's Day, Brian!  We love you!
