Last week Brian drove up to La Crosse to sign the papers on our house. We are homeowners! We won't be able to move in for another 5 1/2 weeks, but those 5 1/2 weeks are going to be full of new baby and packing. They will fly by! While Brian was gone my parents and Breanna came down to help take care of Oliver and help me get a few things ready for the baby. They took great care of us! Our time was full of wagon rides and trips to the different parks in our neighborhood.

The weather was quite hot over the weekend, but on one of the slightly cooler days we visited the Botanic Garden.

On Sunday Brian returned home and Jenny, Sam, Jennifer and Joey came down to join us for the holiday. Our party grew bigger and so did the fun! On Monday we got ready to watch the Evanston Fourth of July Parade that goes right down our street. We decorated the wagon and claimed our spots along the parade route. It was a fun parade, with lots of music and dancing and festive floats.

After the parade was over we had to say good-bye to Oma and Papa and the rest of the crew. It was hard to say good-bye after so many days together. We are so grateful that they all made the trip down here to spend the holiday with us.
After the Wisconsin crew set off we were off to a Fourth of July dinner with Dave and LaDonna and the kids. We grilled out, played in the backyard, and celebrated LaDonna's birthday. We had a super fun time and it was great to see them again.
