All About the Kids

We had a whirlwind week in Wausau over Christmas (say that 3 times fast!).  We partied, ate Christmas cookies, played in the snow, and partied some more. It seemed every day brought another family festivity to attend and the boys loved being able to spend time with all of their cousins.  We had several Santa sightings throughout the week, and Ollie was so excited each time he saw him.  The boys were spoiled with many fun gifts, and most of all we were happy to be home with family.

It's true that once you have kids Christmas becomes magical once again.  It's hard not to be overcome with happiness when you see the sparkle of Christmas lights in their eyes and hear their squeals of excitement when they are surprised by a gift.  There were lots of squeals of excitement going on amongst all of the cousins.  Cousin time = fun time = sometimes crazy wild times.

There was actually enough snow in Wausau for some outdoor fun.  Oliver wanted outside as often as possible.  He and Breanna had some fun sledding times.  We don't have any snow here in La Crosse, and at least twice a day Ollie is asking when it's going to snow at the new house.  I wish it would snow, at least a little.  It doesn't quite feel like winter without it.
