Yesterday we went to The Parenting Place's Children's Summer Festival. Wow, did we have fun! There were dozens of little activities set up for kids, all based on different childrens' books. It was 3 hours of non-stop fun for the boys. They sailed away with Max to visit The Wild Things...
rode a roller coaster with Cars and Trucks and Things That Go...
joined a band...
built the green monster from Go Away Big Green Monster...
met some cute baby animals...
munched through leaves with The Very Hungry Caterpillar...
and rode the roller coaster some more.
Oliver returned to the music area several times. He even played a ukelele and sang "The Wheels On The Bus" along with the musicians that were there. He was in HEAVEN. Henry loved the baby goats, and both boys could have spent hours riding this little roller coaster. It was a super fun morning put on by a great organization.
Last weekend we spent Saturday in the Dells for cousin Mikayla's 3rd birthday party. We hit the water park at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, and played a little mini-golf. The boys even got to meet Yogi Bear himself. Ollie loved him and wanted to strike up a conversation with him, but Henry only enjoyed him from a distance.

And this picture, well it was just too cute not to share. That's our summer boy, Henry, sporting his favorite summer outfit: a diaper and his whale hat.
