It's been a weekend full of play around our house. The weather is not treating us so nicely right now. Rain, sleet, a little ice - it all makes for a busy indoor weekend. We did manage to sneak out last evening to take a winter walk through the nearby marsh. We bundled up in our warm gear and set out on a short hike. The marsh ponds are long frozen over and Oliver thought it was AMAZING that we could walk out onto the ice where there used to be water. We followed some snowshoe trails across the ice and eventually found our way back to the car. It was a refreshing outdoor adventure.
The boys have no trouble finding ways to keep busy inside. Of course The Band plays from time to time. Yesterday they were serenading us with some polka tunes.

This morning we turned our house into Car Town. We used painter's tape to create roads and parking lots throughout the house. The boys (all 3) have been busy driving around our new town.
