We Have Arrived!

We landed safely in Copenhagen earlier today, and after waiting for a very delayed train rode into the city center and found our hotel. Our room is TINY, but as long as there's a place to sleep we're good. (Our hotel is the Cab Inn, so all the rooms are supposed to be like cabins on a ship. Seems about right.)

This afternoon we walked around the hotel neighborhood to get our bearings. We walked down the Strøget, the long pedestrian street with many shops & restaurants. There were a couple of street musicians playing, and Amy was thrilled to hear an accordion player playing "Roll Out the Barrel". She figures that if someone's playing polka, this MUST be a good place! We also walked by the harbors and canals, which are packed with way more people than were there when I was here a few months ago.

We dined at Wagamama tonight, which is a restaurant we ate at in London last year. Amy was proud for going out on a limb and trying a curry dish, but when the dish arrived she found out it was the same dish she had had in London. Once again, it was delicious.

We're a bit worn out now and will probably crash pretty quick. Tomorrow we'll see more of the city and also stop at a bank to see about accounts.
