Our boys are growing up much faster than we'd like, but it's so much fun to watch them grow. Henry is now mobile, and he gets around by leaning forward, putting his hands down, and scooting his rear forward to his hands. (It kind of looks like rowing.) It can't be very efficient, but it gets him around the house and I think that's good enough for him.
On Monday of this week Henry had tubes put in his ears to try and put an end to the string of ear infections he had battled since Christmas. It was a quick procedure, and it didn't really seem to slow him down at all. Hopefully this will help!
Oliver's love of music continues to grow. Last Friday a string band played at our local farmers' market, and both boys had a blast listening to them play. Ollie danced his heart out and kept asking about the upright bass one guy was playing. After the concert he went up to the banjo player and asked him about the instrument and asked to hear more music. (It's a good thing this band will be at the market again in a week.)
And, to close, here's Ollie conducting story time at Barnes & Noble. He still loves to read books and we're happy to see him sharing it with others, even if they are only stuffed animals.
