When my grandparents left us after visiting a few weeks ago, they met up with my grandma's brother and sister (David & Reba) for a cruise up the Norwegian coast. On their way back to Virginia today, David & Reba had a long layover in Copenhagen, so we met them at the airport to visit for a few hours.
We hadn't seen them since my sister Jen's wedding in 2007, so it was nice to catch up. They told us all about the cruise and we told them about life in Denmark, and we compared notes on how expensive the Nordic countries are. (Norway is, amazingly, even more expensive than Denmark.)
We were glad they braved the trip out of security for a short visit!
